Job Description: Internal Sales Estimator
We are looking for a dynamic salesperson to join our D.S. Willetts (Stainless) steel subsidiary to help drive growth in the company.
Aim
To play an active role within the sales team to ensure that company targets are met in terms of budgeted sales and profitability. Facilitate and ensure that we offer our customers the best levels of customer service.
Reports to: Commercial Manager
Main Responsibilities
- Delivering sales by developing relationships with existing and new clients.
- Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets.
- Negotiating sales prices to maximise profitability.
- Quoting enquiries for our laser, plasma, guillotine and saw processes.
- Increase market share in existing markets and maximise new business development.
- Use the CRM system to manage interactions with customers and sales prospects.
- Achieve targets for revenue, profitability and growth.
- Sales reporting on target orders and prospects.
- Liaise with production departments to facilitate order completion within agreed timescales.
- Liaise with suppliers to check on progress of existing orders.
- Act as an ambassador and role model for the business at all times.
- Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and procedures are always adhered to.
- Ensure that all Masteel Group policies and procedures are always adhered to.
Qualifications, Experience & Attributes
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexible approach to work with the ability to work independently and prioritise own workload.
- Team working ethic
- Strong stainless-steel market and product knowledge.
- Knowledge of laser cutting, plasma cutting processes an advantage.
- Professional and dynamic approach to business development.
- Hard working and committed to achieving company goals.
